At Inventix Software, our flagship product is Internet

release of version 2.0 of Internet Cartographer, bringing added stability,
enhanced graphics and new data exploration capabilities to our
customers.
With Internet Cartographer 2.0, you can:
- Maintain a complete history of all your WWW browsing using Netscape
Navigator 4+, Internet Explorer 4+ or Opera 3.51.
- Search your surfing history by title, key word or your own
annotations.
- View and classify WWW pages and their relationships by links,
content, date of access.
- Visualize document relationships by links, content and category
assignments.
- Filter links and history by keywords.
- Automatically launch browsers from Internet Cartographer.
- Advanced Natural Language Processing and Artificial Intelligence
algorithms automatically classify sites according to your interests.
- View sites as hierarchies or maps.
Internet Cartographer will help you to chart a course through the
web, understand where you have been and how the sites you have explored
relate to one another.

Internet Cartographer 2.0.1 for Windows 95, 98, NT, 2000 and XP with Internet
Explorer 4+, Netscape Communicator 4+ and/or Opera 3.51.
NOTE: Some customers have had problems with opening this file directly from
download using Winzip. If you are not successful, please try to save the
file to disk and then open it after the download completes.

- Version 2.0.1 released as freeware on 1/28/2005!
- Version 2.0.1 Beta released on 5/19/1999. This version fixes
problems with Win 95 and Win 98.
- Version 2.0 Demo released on 4/15/1999. The demo version does
everything the real version does except save your urls.
- Version 2.0 Released on 2/8/1999. What's new in Internet
Cartographer 2.0?
- Plenty of bug fixes.
- Better memory management to reduce the amount of memory needed by
Internet Cartographer
- Optimized graphics display reduces flicker and improves
legibility.
- The site properties dialog now shows the site's category
assignments.
- View category assignments in the map view.
- Left-click and drag the mouse in the map view to select groups of
words, links and sites. Drag any item in the selected group to move
the whole group. Right-click menu will hide links and sites in the
selected group.
- Interactive and automatic categorization has been improved to
better adapt as URLs are added to a category.
- Categorization settings can be manipulated by the user. Right
click on the CATEGORIES tree icon to change categorizer settings.
- Drop sites on the CATEGORIES icon to re-categorize the site.
- Opera 3.51 is now supported. Take a look at Opera's website to learn more
about this ambitious project.
- New progress bar indicates activity.
- Support for proxy servers and SOCKS firewalls.
- Hide and Unhide site links in addition to sites.
- Show/Hide lines for entire map display.
- Sites that are in the same category are linked in the map view.
- Update 12/5/98: Added support for Proxy connections via CERN proxies
and SOCKS firewall proxies. For users of Internet Explorer 4+, if the
browser was configured to use a proxy then those settings would also be
used for Internet Cartographer. This modification is mainly for Netscape
users. To pass through SOCKS firewalls, however, IE4+ must be
installed on your system, even if you are not using IE as your
browser (there's no need for IE for HTTP--non-firewall--proxies.) Press
the BROWSER button to set-up proxy connections.
